MySeniorCenter
An exciting addition arrived at the Soprema Senior Center in January 2021! The Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation generously purchased a new automated check-in system called MySeniorCenter. Designed specifically for senior centers, SSC members receive a KeyTag to swipe across a digital scanner and use a simple touch screen to check in for all daily activities and programs.
Part of the amazing MySeniorCenter system is the online registration capability via MyActiveCenter! SSC Members can now register for all In Person & Zoom programs & events right from this system using their SSC Key Tag number to login. Program registrations are still accepted by email and phone as well.
Soprema Senior Center staff hosted a virtual MyActiveCenter Demonstration to illustrate how to use these new, minimum-contact tools. You can watch the recorded program below or stream it from WCTV here: https://my.viebit.com/player.php?hash=ivgcCreBwvSz.
iPad Loan Program
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation generously purchased iPads to loan to area seniors. Thanks to a generous grant from the Medina County Senior Services Network in December 2020, the WOAF has purchased additional iPads to loan out on a first-come, first-served basis for members wanting to participate in Soprema Senior Center programming and to connect safely with family and friends. If you are interested in learning more, please contact the SSC at ssc@wadsworthcity.org or 330-335-1513. Please note that a Wi-Fi connection is needed to use the iPads.
