About the Commission

The Senior Citizens Commission provides advice to the Director of Public Service on all matters related to city services for senior citizens, makes budget recommendations for senior citizens activities, supervises and evaluates city employees involved in providing services to senior citizens and performs any other necessary and appropriate functions related to senior citizens. This Commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the Mayor.
