The City Planning Commission was established by City Council as provided by the Ohio Revised Code and is responsible for reviewing all site plans for permitted commercial, industrial and multifamily uses, issuing conditional zoning certificates for all conditionally permitted uses and reviewing all land subdivisions.
The Commission is a five member panel consisting of the Mayor, Director of Public Service and three citizens appointed by the mayor and meets the second and fourth Monday of each month:
Proposed Residential Zoning Text Amendments
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 4PM regarding proposed changes to the Low Density Residential (LDR) zoning text and the creation of a new Estate-Residential (ER) zoning district text. The public hearing will be held remotely via Zoom. If you wish to comment on the proposed amendments, please put them in writing and email them to the Planning Director at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the Building & Planning Department (330.335.2752) to receive instructions for joining the remote hearing. You will have an opportunity to address the Planning Commission live at the hearing.
