Planning Commission

Overview

The City Planning Commission was established by City Council as provided by the Ohio Revised Code and is responsible for reviewing all site plans for permitted commercial, industrial and multifamily uses, issuing conditional zoning certificates for all conditionally permitted uses and reviewing all land subdivisions.

The Commission is a five member panel consisting of the Mayor, Director of Public Service and three citizens appointed by the mayor and meets the second and fourth Monday of each month:

New Fire Station #1 Project - Change to Public Hearing Date & Time

REVISED PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

The public hearing for New Fire Station #1 scheduled by the City of Wadsworth Planning Commission for Monday, June 13, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. has been cancelled and rescheduled.   The new public hearing will take place on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 5PM in Council Chambers, Wadsworth City Hall, 120 Maple Street, Wadsworth, Ohio.   The City is seeking a conditional zoning certificate in order to build a new Fire Station #1 on City Lot #617 (329-351 College Street), which is located in an R-2 Residential Zoning District.   Any person who desires to comment on the proposed conditional zoning application should appear at the above place and time.
