College Street Culvert
EMERGENCY COLLEGE STREET CLOSURE, August 21, 2018
We have closed College Street between Trease Road and Leatherman Road due to unforeseen circumstances, and it will remain closed until the anticipated Culvert Replacement Project is completed, likely in early October.
During a routine inspection by our Engineering Department, evidence of potential roadway failure was found. Although we understand the inconvenience this will cause, the closure is necessary for the safety of the traveling public. Work repairing the complete culvert and roadway was originally set to begin in September, after the delivery of the culvert structure. We are trying to expedite that schedule.
Detours will be posted this afternoon and will be the same as those in April (see detour suggestions below). Watch this page and the City’s website (wadsworthcity.com) for updates as the project progresses. You may call 330-335-2708 with any questions.

Street Improvement Program
The ashpalt resurfacing contractor will begin on Monday July 23rd by milling (or grinding) the old asphalt and hauling it away. Please be aware of dips in the roadway and raised manholes and water valves. Traffic will be maintained in each direction with one lane closures as they work.
