Soprema Senior Center

Senior Center

Supporting Successful Aging!

Due to the health concerns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Soprema Senior Center and Cafe’s building and grounds are closed until further notice. Though portions of the multi-generational Wadsworth High School and Community Center campus have resumed operations, our facilities remain closed. Staff continues to work remotely from home and are available to answer questions and provide support and information. Please contact us by phone at 330-335-1513 or via email to ssc@wadsworthcity.org. Center staff will be in touch as soon as possible.

During the time that the Center is closed, we are pleased to offer our members virtual programming for July, August and September! There are ample opportunities for a variety of both traditional and contemporary senior programming offered online or over the phone. Seniors are invited to engage in recreational, educational, informational, seasonal and social programs from the comfort and safety of their own homes. Program descriptions are located in our current newsletter (available in the menu sidebar to the left, under "Center Newsletter") and monthly programming calendars are available for download (available in the menu sidebar to the left, under "Center Calendar"). We hope you will join us as we physically distance together.

Not yet a member? The building may be closed, but the Soprema Senior Center is accepting member registrations remotely! Membership is free and open to residents age 55+ in Wadsworth and surrounding communities. Please download and complete the member form PDF, and then either mail the completed form to the SCC or scan and email it to ssc@wadsworthcity.org. Staff also can process member registration over the phone (330-335-1513) if needed.

The Soprema Senior Center is supported by the City of Wadsworth, the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation and our Professional Friends. We accept donations from the community through the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation. Please know that our first priority is the safety and well being of our members, staff, volunteers and guests. We look forward to the time when we can reconnect, until then please take advantage of our many virtual programs and feel free to reach out to staff via phone or email.  Stay staff, healthy and strong!
