Disposal of Unused Medications Properly (D.U.M.P.)

The Wadsworth Police Department maintains a D.U.M.P. box with the purpose of the box is to provide the public a means of proper disposal of unused or unwanted medications. The Wadsworth location is one of 12 throughout Medina County. The D.U.M.P. box can be found on the ground floor of City Hall and is available for disposal purposes Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What Can Go in the Box

Any unused prescription or over-the-counter medications may be disposed of in the D.U.M.P. box with the exception of syringes. No syringes are to be placed inside the D.U.M.P. box. All medication bottles should be sealed tightly and we suggest that you remove any personal identifying information from the outside of the containers.
