1. How long will the bricks be available to purchase?

With the majority of construction scheduled to be complete by the end of Summer 2023, initial phase bricks will only be available for a limited time. Please purchase your brick on or before the close of business JULY 10, 2023.

2. When will the new 9/11 Memorial be built?

The 9/11 Memorial and the permanent Safety Town Village construction will commence May 1, 2023 with an anticipated completion date of September 2023.

3. How long until my brick is engraved? Can I see it?

The bricks are laser engraved in large batches. Due to the project coordination schedule, we will not be able to show you your brick until it is installed.

4. Where will my brick be located?

Bricks will be located in and around the 9/11 Memorial walkways adjacent to the new permanent Safety Town Village which will be behind the new Fire Station headquarters currently under construction. Depending on the volume of bricks sold, bricks may also be incorporated into other areas of the 9/11 Memorial and the Safety Town Village.

5. Will my brick look exactly like it does on the website?

The website preview is for general reference only. While all of the words you enter on the website will be arranged as you provide, the font style and size may appear different on the completed brick. The grey and off white colors of the bricks may also vary from what you see on the screen.

6. What can I have inscribed on my brick?

There are many unique ways to personalize your brick: 

• Recognizing your family name
• In honor or remembrance of a friend or loved one 
• In honor of a person who serves in the military, law enforcement, fire or EMS service
• Business or corporation support using your logo
• Demonstrating Safety Town, school, or community pride – example: “Class of 2023”
• As a gift 
• An encouraging message or favorite quote

7. I made a mistake on my brick order. Can I make changes?

This might be possible, depending upon timing. If you made a mistake or would like to add something, please contact Michele Raineri at 330-335-2705 or by email at mraineri@wadsworthcity.org. 

8. Can I place an order by mail or in person?

We encourage all orders to be placed online via this website. If you have questions or need assistance completing your online order, please contact Michele Raineri at 330-335-2705 or by email at mraineri@wadsworthcity.org 

If circumstances prohibit online ordering, order forms can be picked up at the Administrative Office of City Hall (second floor at the top of the steps).

9. Is your website secure?

Your credit card order is processed using secure SSL encryption. This prevents unauthorized access to your credit card data. We do not save your credit card number.

10. How will the proceeds from the sale of my brick be used?

Proceeds from the sale of the bricks will be put towards the cost of the construction and maintenance of the new permanent Safety Town Village and adjoining 9/11 Memorial. 

11. What if I miss the initial installation deadline? Can I still place an order?

Yes, sales of the engraved pavers will be an ongoing fundraising effort to support and maintain the Safety Town Village and 9/11 Memorial.

12. I bought a corporate logo brick, who do I email my company logo to?

Please email black and white crisp outline (no gray scale, color, scan, or copies permitted) of your corporate logo information to mraineri@wadsworthcity.org.

13. Are there other donation opportunities available to support the 9/11 Memorial and the Safety Town Village?

Yes! In addition to the brick paver fundraiser, there are other ways to donate that include:

• Three (3) tiers of miniature building sponsorships with pricing based upon size of buildings and length of sponsorship; these sponsorships will last for a period of years and then will need to be renewed if sponsorship is to continue; buildings will be built by WHS carpentry class and are limited to approximately 4-5 buildings a year; 
• Miniature roadway naming rights donations and, 
• General donations which will provide for maintenance and repair needs at the park, additional safety town equipment and supplies, and completion of additional future features at the Safety Town Park and 9/11 Memorial.
