Beginning in March 2014, Bob Titus took his post as Wadsworth Ward 2 City Councilman, where he advocates for the Wadsworth community as Chairman of the Economic Development and Planning Committee of City Council. He serves also on the Public Safety Committee and Council liaison for the City Planning Commission.
Bob Titus is the CEO of OPEN M. A Ministry of Faith, Health and Hope; OPEN M is a Faith-based non-profit located in inner-city Akron committed to: Feeding the Hungry; Healing the Sick; Nurturing Children; Building Families; and Strengthening the Community. He served in the United States Air Force for four years after graduating from Garfield High School.
He started at OPEN M in September 2014 as the Executive Director of Community Works Connection (CWC), a program that seeks to equip those in poverty to become economically self-sufficient through a holistic approach to job training, job placement and job retention. In October 2015 he was promoted to Chief Operations Officer and is currently the Chief Executive Officer as of May 2017.
Mr. Titus’ past work history brings 30 years of entrepreneurism and business development. He has served as a Senior Sales Recruiter, Business Development Manager, owning several successful businesses - as example: BKT, Inc. LLC for over 19 years.

Mr. Titus has been married to his wife Kate and has lived in Wadsworth for over 25 years. He has three children and two grandchildren.
