[ARCHIVED] Sanitation Department and Transfer Station Updates

Transfer Station Update

We have made some changes with the services offered by the Sanitation Department and Transfer Station in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to support the social distancing measures in the Stay At Home Order

We have made some changes with the services offered by the Sanitation Department and Transfer Station in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to support the social distancing measures in the Stay At Home Order:

➦ Yard Waste Collection:
At this time, we will not be charging for this service. Beginning today, you can put out your bags, cans, or bundles without green yard waste stickers. We want to provide a free opportunity for you so you won’t need to leave your home to buy a sticker. Please visit the link below for yard waste guidelines:

➦ Spring Cleanup:
We are postponing the annual Spring Cleanup Week in order to protect our employees. You can take the additional unwanted items to the Transfer Station.

➦ Transfer Station:
The Transfer Station remains open during regular operating hours from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with the understanding that could change in the future. At this time, it is now only open to one vehicle at a time. Please be patient and wait for your turn.

All these changes have been made to better protect you and our employees. If you have any questions, please call the Transfer Station at 330-335-2847! We are in this together, Wadsworth! Thank you for your understanding!
