Although the Soprema Senior Center is providing programming remotely, we will continue to be closed for all in-person activity. The announcement of the first phase of senior center reopening’s by Governor DeWine was followed up by extensive guidelines, including testing requirements. In order to reopen the Soprema Senior Center to the safest extent possible, we must follow the directives from the Governor’s Office, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Aging, and the Medina County Health Department. We are working hard to understand the guidelines as they are released and develop a safe and effective plan to begin offering select programming at the Center. Please keep in mind that when we do reopen, it will look different than before the COVID-19 Pandemic; including limited attendance, pre-registration, and mask-wearing. We will keep you informed through social media and the City of Wadsworth website, including the Soprema Senior Center web page. In the meantime, the Center will continue to offer a wide variety of innovative, entertaining, and educational remote programs.
