Spring Clean Up
The City of Wadsworth Spring Clean Up Week will be held Monday, April 30th – Friday, May 4th. Residents have the opportunity to put additional trash out for pick-up on the evening before their regular trash pick-up, with the exception of large or hazardous items. All leaves and grass must be placed in bags or containers with a maximum capacity of 30 gallons; and, each container must have a yard waste sticker in order to be picked up. Additionally, the Transfer Station is offering 3-day dumpster rentals to residential homes for $184. Dumpsters are 8 cubic yards, and the fee includes delivery and emptying. City Income Tax Deadline
The deadline to file your City income tax return is Tuesday April 17th! City income tax assistance is available Monday through Friday, from 8:30am-4:30pm in the Income Tax Office, located on the first floor of City Hall.

DEA National Drug Take Back Day
April 28th is National Drug Take Back Day. The City will be participating from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm with a Wadsworth Police Officer available curbside at the police station to receive unused, unwanted and no longer needed medicines. The officer will ensure that the items are disposed of safely and properly. No sharps or illegal drugs will be accepted.

2018 Hydrant Flushing Notice
The Wadsworth Water Department will be conducting its annual fire hydrant flushing during the weeks of April 23rd, April 30th and May 7th. The flushing of fire hydrants insures that all of the hydrants are in good working order and it also aids in maintaining water quality. The hydrants being flushed are in the following general areas: North of Broad St. and east to the city limits. Also, south of Broad Street, from First Street, east to Silvercreek Road. And, north of College Street and west to N. Avon, including all streets north of I-76. Other areas included are Whippoorwill Lane, Songbird Path, Sparrow Way, portions of Johnson Road, Ohio Avenue, Fairview Avenue, East Street and Park Street. The water in your area may become discolored during the flushing program. While it is safe to drink, it is not recommended that you wash clothes in it. LEDs last up to 25 times longer than incandescent light bulbs and can save the user $90 or more over their lifetime. Stop in and get yours while supplies last.
