Regular Collection Service: The City of Wadsworth provides Solid Waste collection and disposal services for the residents of the City and surrounding Township. The City provides a 96 gallon wheeled cart for residential waste. Carts are to be placed near the street after 7:00 PM the night before collection. The Sanitation Department services carts at night to avoid traffic, school children and parked vehicles.
Carts must be removed from the collection area by 7:00 PM the day of pick up. The Sanitation Crew works every day, except the above mentioned holidays (holidays recognized became effective in 2013). All household refuse, trash, and garbage are to be placed in the cart, as only what is in the cart will be picked up. Poisons, acids, caustics, explosives, hot ashes, yard waste, paint, soils, building materials, or any other dangerous or hazardous material are not to be put into the carts.
