2009-453 Orchard and Memorial Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation

Residents along the sewers to be lined will receive a door hangar with the following information:

Kokosing Construction Co., Inc. will be working in your neighborhood conducting trenchless sewer work. The work includes cleaning and inspecting the sewer lines and then installing a cured-in-place liner that will structurally enhance the integrity of the old sewer. This work is trenchless, meaning all work will be performed above ground and involves minimal, if any, digging. During this process there may be some disruption to normal traffic conditions in your area. Please pay close attention to posted construction signs.

During the lining process, you may notice an odor emanating throughout your home or business. This is normal and will not last much longer than the restriction time. If the odor disrupts normal operation of your business or daily activities, please contact the construction superintendent at the mobile phone number below. At your request, MSDS sheets are available.

To minimize odors, please:

Fill the drain trap with fresh water and place wet rags over your shower, sink, and basement drains.

Make sure your commode has only fresh water in the bowl. Cover the bowl with a towel and place the lid in the down position to minimize splashing.

Please place the wet rags just prior to the restriction start date and time listed on the yellow door hanger you received.

You may remove the rags at the restriction end date and time.
