The City of Wadsworth Engineering Department is responsible for providing many services throughout the city. The department is staffed with a full-time Engineering Services Manager/City Engineer, an Engineering Services Supervisor/Assistant City Engineer, two Civil Engineers, one Engineering Office Assistant, and four Engineering Technicians. The department's nine full-time employees have about one hundred and thirty years of professional experience and ninety-three years of dedicated public service. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited too: assisting individuals with tax maps, topographic maps, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main locations, review and comment on traffic studies, provide city engineering services to other city departments, act as liasons with consultants, contractors, engineers, developers and utiliity companies for public improvement projects, and the continuing maintenance of the central filing system.
