Sanitation Rates Increase

As of January 2007, sanitation rates increased for the first time since 2001.
Residents of The City will now pay $15.00 a month for a 96 gallon cart. Outside The City the rate is $17.00 a month. For more information and the latest updates on all utilities go to www.wadsworthcity.com

Transfer Station Renovation Complete

One reason for the rate increase was for the much needed renovation of our Transfer Station. Built in 1976, Wadsworth is one of a handful of

Ohio cities that owns its own transfer station. Improvements include: new Push Pit Compactor, Railings, Storage, Siding, Roof, Paint and more. Stop down today at 165 Auble St. to check it out or drop off some trash.

Yard Waste Stickers Year Round

Starting Jan. 1, 2007 a $1.00 Yard Waste Sticker will be required for all yard waste picked up throughout the year. During the winter months (Nov-Apr): call the Transfer Station 335-2847 before the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Yard waste must be bagged and have a sticker to get picked up. Brush (no sticker needed,) will be picked up in bundles no longer than 4 feet by 2 feet. Stickers can be purchased at Giant Eagle, Buehlers, Hometown Market & the Transfer Station.
