WADSWORTH LAWN SPRINKLING SCHEDULE

June 1 thru Sept 30th

A mandatory lawn sprinkling schedule will be in effect for users of the City of Wadsworth's water system, beginning June 1, 2010, through September 30, 2010, with rules and regulations as imposed under Section 17a fo the Water Utility Department General Rules and Regulations:

Section 17a of the Water Utility Department General Rules and Regulations reads as follows:

"The Mayor or Director of Public Service may impose a ban of lawn sprinkling or other water use at such time as are deemed necessary for the health and welfare of the residents and the efficient operation of the water system. Any consumer failing to comply with an imposed ban after notification by the Director of Public Service or his agent shall be subject to discontinuance of water service. In the event that such a discontinuance of water involves an inhabited dwelling unit and the City determines that such complete shut off of water will cause a sanitary or health problem, the City reserves the right to curtail its water supply to subject consumer at the curb cock to the bare minimum water supply required to meet minimum sanitary needs. Such flow shall be limited to not more than one gallon per hour.

The reestablishment of service when discontinued or curtailed because of not complying with set bans will only be completed upon payment in full of a $40.00 turn on fee during regular working hours and $125.00 during non regular working hours."

AUTHORIZED BY THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE OF THE CITY OF WADSWORTH, OHIO, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 743.02 ET. SEQ. OF THE REVISED CODE OF OHIO.

The sprinkling schedule shall be as follows:

SUNDAY -- Even Numbered Addresses

MONDAY -- NO SPRINKLING

TUESDAY -- NO SPRINKLING

WEDNESDAY -- Odd Numbered Addresses

THURSDAY -- Even Numbered Addresses

FRIDAY -- NO SPRINKLING

SATURDAY -- Odd Numbered Addresses

Watering of shrubbery, trees, gardens, flowers, animals, pets, and vehicles is permitted.
