2011 HYDRANT FLUSHING SCHEDULE
The Wadsworth Water Department will be conducting its’ annual fire
hydrant flushing program during the weeks of April 25th and May 2nd. The
entire low side system will be flushed during the 2011 flushing program.
The flushing of hydrants insures that all of the hydrants are in good working
order and also aids in maintaining water quality.
Flushing the week of April 25th and May 2nd. will include College St.
and all streets south of College St. Streets south of Broad St. and west of
First St.. On the west side of town flushing will continue west of High St.
and south of Prospect to Leatherman Rd... Also included all streets west of
Leatherman Rd...
The water in your area may become discolored during the flushing
program. While it is safe to drink, it is not recommended that you wash
clothes in it. Your water should be cleared up by the next day.
