Planning Commission

The City Planning Commission has been established by City Council as provided by the Ohio Revised Code and is responsible for reviewing all site plans for permitted commercial, industrial and multifamily uses; issuing conditional zoning certificates for all conditionally permitted uses and reviewing all land subdivisions.

The Commission is a five member panel consisting of the Mayor, Director of Public Service and three citizens appointed by the mayor and meets the second and fourth Monday of each month.  A meeting schedule for 2011 is provided below:

Comprehensive Plan Update

In 2009, the City will be the planning process to update our Comprehensive Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan, which was last updated in 1996.  Information regarding the planning process will be posted to the  Comprehensive Plan page of this website.
