     The offices and the garage as well as the Dog Warden  are located at:

311 Broad Street Wadworth, Ohio 44281.

Storm Sewers

      Storm Sewer and Flooding problems are handled as a priority. If you have any problems with street drainage please let us know. Storm sewers handle clean water only, such as downspouts and footer drains.  As these drain into creeks, ponds, and lakes please do not dump foreign materials or liquids into the catch basins.  Give a hoot- don't pollute!!  The City of Wadsworth is under NPDES standards as set forth by the Ohio EPA and Medina county Soil conservation district.Please see the page under NPDES Information for some important information.

Trash Pick-up

     A city wide Trash pick-up is usually the last week in April or the first week of May. We pick up large items during this week on your regularly scheduled trash day. For a list of prohibited items contact the transfer station at (330) 335-2847.Some items that the EPA or the transfer station does not allow in the waste stream are batteries, tires, appliances, and construction materials.  We will pick up brush with a chipper and it does not need to be bundled during that week.

Christmas Tree Pick-up

     Christmas trees will be picked up two weeks after Christmas.  Please put the trees at the curb for pick up. 

Dog Warden

     We have holding facilities for six to seven dogs only. The dogs are then transported to the Medina Co. Animal Shelter. Dead animals will be picked up at your request. Services are provided only inside the city limits of Wadsworth.  We have no facilities for cats or other animals and they can be taken to the Medina County Animal Shelter on Lake Rd off of State Rt 162.        

Potholes

     Potholes can be reported at (330) 335-2842.  we will do our best to see that they are patched as soon as possible. 

Street Sweeping

     Street sweeping is provided by an outside contractor. Please call with questions or concerns.  Since they are under contract to the City we will address your concerns to the contractor.
