Spring Clean-Up Week
April 25-29, 2011
All leaves and grass must be placed in bags or containers with a maxium capacity of 30 gallons; and, each container must have a yard waste sticker in order to be picked up.
During
Spring Clean-Up Week, residents have the opportunity to put additional trash
out for pick-up. All
items must be at the street the evening before the normal pick up day, and a
number of items are EXCLUDED:
tires
appliances
motor oil
paints
any liquid wastes
furniture
computer
equipment
mattresses/box springs
televisions
construction and demolition
materials (including carpet and flooring)
any item weighing over 50 pounds
or too bulky for one person to handle
Large items, such as
furniture, carpeting and padding, or mattresses and box springs can be disposed
of at the Transfer Station for a fee..
Loose
brush will be picked up during Spring Cleanup week, there is a maximum of one
truckload per residence. Property owners having more truckload may take the brush
to the Medina County Compost Facility on Lake Road in Westfield Township. Any leaves and grass must be

available year round for $1.00 each at the Utility Office in City Hall or at
the Transfer Station (165

container having mixed yard waste and trash will not be picked up.
Residents are reminded that
– following Spring Clean-up Week - yard
waste will continue to be picked up on the same day as their trash and stickers
are required. From April through
October, any yard waste should be placed at the curb by 2:00 a.m. on the
day of pick-up in order to be collected.
