Applications for employment are only accepted when the Wadsworth Civil Service Commission has advertised for a specific vacancy. In such cases, applications must be completed in person by the applicant in the Human Resources Office unless otherwise specified.  Human Resources is located on the second floor of City Hall.  Walk-in applications and/or unsolicited resumes are not accepted outside of any posted vacancy. 

Vacancy announcements or civil service examination announcements may be advertised in the Akron Beacon Journal, the Trading Post and/or Monster.com  The nature of the announcement will dictate the media outlets to be utilized. 

All job postings and civil service test announcements will be posted on this website.  Please see this link entitled "Employment Opportunities" on the main home page.  This will take you directly to all opportunities that are currently available.

Such announcements will also be posted on the bulletin board in City Hall, 2nd Floor and on Channel 17 on your local cable television.
